$3,421OPEN EVERY SUNDAY 1-4pm UNTIL SOLD. New sewer hookup to public sewer has now been completed. Septic failed & after trying to replace it, it became an impossible idea. The County suggested we hook-up to the owner sewer plant in the area which is in the neighborhood across (Old Colchester Rd) - This required a lot of approvals as there is NO public sewer allowed on Old Colchester Rd - we were lucky because the house was within 400' of a manhole so that gave us an exemption. Then we had to get an engineer to design it, needed approvals from the Health Dept & VDOT, and then a plumber to install. The line is now completed but it just happened so the landscaping will be redone next week by the owner (he is a landscaper) & some more gravel poured on the driveway where the septic tanks were that have been crashed. Very unique property with approximately .68 acres. Owner is a landscaper & bought a strip of land to add a second driveway & metal building to work on his trucks. Main house has had approximately four additions/ renovations since it was built in 1935. Owner has all drawings & permits signing by Fairfax County. Kitchen is very nice with three walls of cabinets, skylights, breakfast bar, granite countertops, SS appliances & pass-thru to hall. Master bedroom offers his' n hers' walk-in closets, dressing area with granite-covered vanity with double sink & make-up mirror. Off this area is your adjoining bath with tub with shower and toilet. Off the bedroom is Andersen doors with triple glass panes & the center opens to the deck above the garage (has a railing & has an EDPM rubber roof sturdy enough for sunbathing). The house has it's own electric meter because the owner has electricity and insulation in the three vinyl garages that he used for his shop and often used his welding machine or other apparatus which caused the electric bill to spike high on the house bill so he had a second meter put on the garages. This meter can be shut off or completely removed. The three vinyl garages have insulated walls and electricity as mentioned above. Owner used as a shop, they could also be used as a garage or storage. One garage is longer than the other two to accommodate a long-bed pick-up truck. Beyond the patio is a lovely yard, landscaped, and room to enjoy the outdoors. Gazebo has electricity to enjoy on a nice evening.
